RemitWatch: Medicaid billing reconciliation for home care agencies

For Medicaid home care agencies

Every remit reconciled. Every visit accounted for.

RemitWatch checks each weekly Medicaid remit against your visit and authorization records, then hands your billing team a clear fix list: visits worked but never billed, denials and why, and gaps between what was authorized, delivered and paid.

Built and run inside a HIPAA-compliant environment. Business associate agreement signed before any data is shared.

Where revenue slips

Your caregivers did the work. The claim still has to make it all the way to paid.

Between the visit record, the EVV clock-in, the authorization and the claim, there are a lot of places for a visit to fall through. Most agencies only find out weeks later, if at all.

Worked but never billed

Visits sit in your EHR with no claim behind them, whole clients or just a few dates at a time.

Denied for EVV

The visit happened, but the matching EVV record never reached the state, often after a manual entry.

Billed, but never arrived

Your system says billed. The remit says nothing. Nobody notices until the money is late.

Authorization gaps

Authorized, delivered and paid stop lining up: active authorizations with no visits, or months billed twice.

How it works

Four steps, every week, on every remit.

01

Bring the records together

Your Medicaid remit, your EHR visit report (Therap or similar) and your authorizations, shared through a secure channel.

02

Reconcile line by line

Every claim line is matched to the visits behind it, and every visit to the claim it should be on.

03

Deliver the fix list

A workbook your team can work: what was paid, what was denied and why, and what was never billed, with columns to assign each item.

04

Track it until it closes

Open items carry forward week to week, so nothing sits for a month before anyone sees it.

Questions

Common questions

Do you replace my billing team?

No. Your billers keep submitting and correcting claims. RemitWatch shows them exactly which items need attention each week, so their time goes where it counts.

Which systems do you work with?

We work from the reports you already have: your Medicaid remittance advice, your EHR visit and authorization reports (Therap and similar systems), and your payroll schedule.

How long does the audit take?

A Remit Snapshot takes 5 business days from the day we receive your files. A full Revenue Leak Audit depends on how many weeks you want reviewed; we give you a firm date before we start.

Do I get your software?

No. Everything is done for you. You send the reports you already have, and you get the findings, the workbook and a walkthrough.

What if my Snapshot week looks clean?

Then you have an independent check that your billing for that week lines up, and we will tell you so plainly.

How is it priced?

The Remit Snapshot is a flat $997, credited toward a full audit. The Revenue Leak Audit is a one-time project, and the Billing Agent and Staff Agent are monthly; those are quoted after a short review call, based on your agency's size and remit volume.

Is my data safe?

Yes. We sign a business associate agreement before anything is shared, work inside HIPAA-compliant tools, and never send client information by plain email.
